HSE Advice
Dear Parents/Guardians
The HSE has issued advice to schools and asked that we share it with parents/guardians as there has been a significant increase in general viral infections among children across the country. We are also noticing an increase in the number of children who are unwell. in school and who have to go home,
Main message is - If your child is not well, do not send them to school.
Details of the symptoms of Viral infections and Group A strep infections are contained within the letter - FEVER, COUGH and SORE THROAT.
Advice on what to do if you are concerned about your child is also within the letter that is attached for your information.
Many thanks for all your support and co-operation as always.
Yours sincerely
