Our boys football team have played 3 games to date in the Cumann na mBunscoil Championship.
In our first outing vs The Downs we travelled to face a very strong Downs team, and missing a few of our more experienced players we gave a good account of ourselves.
We then faced Clonmellon in St Loman's on the astro. in an evenly matched game we ultimately lost out after missing a few chances to win the game, when luck wasn't on our side.
Multyfarnham were then the visitors to Shamrocks where a fantastically entertaining game was settled by a last minute goal from Multyfarnham. The boys battled superbly in this game and were very unfortunate not to come away with victory.
In our final game the boys finally got the victory that their efforts and commitment deserved. We travelled to Castlepollard to take on the home side and after a strong first half goal scoring spree we kept our lead for a much craved victory! Well done lads!
Mr.Scally and Mr Ó Máirtin are incredibly proud of the boys efforts so far as is the whole school community! Well done boys!
